On Wednesday, Paul Binnion delivered his talk on woodland photography, he showed us some lovely examples. He talked about different weather conditions. He said , “mist was a woodland photographer’s best friend”, and preferred soft images rather than harsh colours and light. He suggested there were ways around “bad light”. Towards the end of the talk we discussed a more abstract approach and we were shown some double exposures and intentional camera movement..
Paul will return to guide us on a practical woodland photography session on Sat 17th October. Details will be made available on the club forum.

Last night, we kicked off the start to the season with the return of Paul Hill (https://paulhillphotography.com/), who gave us a talk on nature/macro photography back in May.
Paul provided an insightful critique on club members’ submitted macro shots and we discussed each of the images in detail.
Paul’s brief notes are available to club members on the forum.
